There’s a chance you may skip an email or say an old email is buried in the Gmail box and you, unfortunately, forget to respond. If you have turned the “Nudges” feature on, then you will eventually be able to see it there and respond if required.
A nudge is one of the features in Gmail that reminds you to follow up on an email if you haven’t heard back from the sender. If you turn on the nudge feature, Gmail will suggest that you follow up on emails you’ve sent if you don’t receive a response from the sender after a particular period of time. You can choose how long to wait before triggering a nudge, and you can also disable the nudge feature completely if you don’t want to use it.
So, How to Turn off ‘Nudge’ in Gmail
To enable or disable the nudge feature in Gmail, click the gear icon in the top right corner of the page, select “See all settings,” and then click on the “Nudges” tab in the settings menu. From there, you can turn the nudge feature on or off and customize the timing of the nudges.
